Looks good so far. What type of paint did you use?

Thanks Gordon, I have used Tamiya spray paint AS-12 bare-metal silver and some light initial weathering with Flory's dark grey wash for panels and rivets

Thanks Oleg! It's a good kit. Had some issues with the metal paint work on some parts, otherwise a pretty straightforward build.

I thought all Spitfire had the bubble canopy by that time. The counter rotating spinner looks very nice on this. Great result!!!

Thank Mr James & Vincent!
To my knowledge there were a number of experimental contra-prop Spitfires in WWII, both Merlin and Griffon installations.

After WWII a number of Mk 21's were converted to contra-prop and issued singly for service evaluation to various squadrons. They seem to have gravitated to the 'C.O.'s personal kite' status.
