I've been looking at the Crazy Modeler decals I got for this and apart from the obvious tobacco sponsorship, I haven't got a clue where the rest go. Don't these things ever come with instructions!?!?!?

If this wouldn't be a Yamaha and no Tamiya paint in the background this could be Orange County Chopper live performance. This looks great! The weld seams came with the kit or done by you?

🙂 Thanks Frank, I'll try and move the paints next time!! Can't claim the credit for the seams I'm afraid, all in the kit thus far.

Another question to ask. I have a bodywork piece that needs two different colours on it. Previously, I've done the main colour first and then masked off and sprayed the second over the top of the first. This leaves a small raised edge after the second colour, so I was thinking of masking off both e.g. mask, spray first colour, mask over that and spray second colour so paint thicknesses are consistent. Does anyone have any advice on what's the best way? Thanks.

its a night mare I am struggling with the marlboro 1983 yzr at the moment. I have not got a spray gun and use cans and this is the problem as your control over the amount of paint is restricted. I will post some pics when I finally get it done. Three times I have tried the tailpeice and three rub backs to base plastic LOL

Andrew the double mask idea sounds good but just make sure the paint is 100% dry! and use a very low tack tape or even bare metal foil. I often use just normal clear "sticky tape" but stick it on the inside of my plam first to lower the sticking factor of the tape! and i always remove tape straight after spraying!!! Try to keep the paint as thin as you can to avoid the lip! An even coat of clear over the top later may help blend it all! Good luck!
