If you read my little story on the real Su-25 Frogfoot part i "acquired" from a "plane that mysteriously made a unplanned decent from the sky while flying over a neighboring country" after being hit by a missile! story well here's the photos of the parts recovered. Including the closeup part approximately 22cm x 22cm square that i was lucky enough to get a hold of a few months ago.
A big thank you to the "team" that recovered the parts and cut them up so aircraft weirdos like me could own a piece!
Here's the shots showing the location where parts where recovered from and the part i have to display with the model i plan to make of Su-25 12 red RF-93027 shot down March 2022 over Kyiv Oblast near a forest.
It's a part of the fuselage that surrounds the engine nacelles not sure if it's left or right front or rear? but does contain part of a small air intake that is in those parts of the skin of the aircraft. Its twisted and buckled from the blast and impact also has a small burn from where a piece of shrapnel has penetrated the skin from the explosion. still has a slight smell of aircraft fuel and maybe even the blast residue.
Not everyday you get a little piece of history like this.
