Airmodel AM-119 Junkers Ju 87 D-3 Passenger Wing Pods conv
Sanding sideways with the wingcurve under the sandingpaper copies the shape of the wing to the passengerPod. The Pod itself got struts and seats from inside and was painted from inside and outside with RLM02.
A small amount of putty around the pods and masking aplied the Ju 87 is ready for painting.
with the sanding technique described in picture 14 the pod now fits perfectly on the wing.

Thank you ... yes it existed and it flew. They also are called "agent-pods" for an obvious reason 🙂- It first was tested and flown on a Klemm KL 35 or 25. Pictures in the internet can be found from both airplanes.

Wow !! I did that conversion back in the '70's when I was in high school. I actually used the Frog kit. I must say yours turned out much better looking then mine. Thanks for the flashback 🙂

Thank you... in fact I revised the molds and turned them from a positive mold to a more accurate and modern negativ mold which improved the product itself.

Album info
This model was built from the 2010 revised molds of the AM-119 kit.... As I remember I used an Acadamy (?) Ju 87 kit for the conversion.
