@ David, I use a small trick for the canopies: I paint the edge with black permanent marker before gluing, thus eliminating the gleams and making the "glass" look visually thinner 🙂

I started this kit a really long time ago. For one or another reason it was laying partially assembled in different boxes and survived three house moves, patiently waiting to be finished. Finally its time has come. Hope the result has deserved all that waiting 🙂
