Its Fallen together, Have not gone mad on this one as the main reason is to test the finish I can get for bare metal.

What color and paint did you use for the NMF?
28 April 2016, 22:03
Choppa Nutta
Turned out nice, liking the scheme of it and a cool plane too 🙂
28 April 2016, 22:04
Augie
Thanks Choppa 🙂

Clifford, the NMF s is technically not a paint. its wax gilt.

Thanks James 🙂

Dont let the raised details put you off, still makes a good show on the shelf!
28 April 2016, 23:39
Rex
Augie, what color did you use under the gilt? And have we already seen that FG. 1 trying to hide in the background?

oh, and nice "concrete shelf" that you have the models displayed on, too
29 April 2016, 02:19
Augie
Hey rex,

Under the gilt is bare plastic which for this kit was grey.

The FG.1 has been seen an is avalible in my project to see more 🙂

Thanks on the shelf, was just a print out of concrete texture to make it look a bit better

Clifford Keesler
That sounds like some neat stuff. How did you ever find out about using that? Did you seal it with a clear coat?
29 April 2016, 21:41
Augie
Hi clifford, I used to use it for other artistic things. I have used it for shocks on undercarriges for years... just never been brave enough till now to use it all over.

It is sealed under future
