Tonight an update with completion of the cockpit installed and both halves of the air frame assembled. Seems like once the cockpit details are finished the build starts to progress a little quicker. This build will represent a Veltro (Greyhound), that served with 2a Squadriglia 1 Gruppo, Caccia, based at Campoformido, translated to 2nd Squadron, 1st Fighter Group, Udine AB, Jan 1944. Polly Scale Italian Lt Blue Grey(Grigorio Azzuro Chiaro), A mix of Aeromaster Tan FS30219 and Polly Scale Tan Special to create Lt Hazel Nut (Nocciola Chiaro4 and Xtracolour USMC Green for the smoke rings (Verde Oliva Scuro 2).

Today after installing the wing and tail planes. A little issue under the fuselage and rear wing join will need to be addressed. Probably more me than the kit. Otherwise the fit is very good otherwise. Next to work the seams, under the nose and spine. Install the canopy mask and paint the framing interior green. Next is to finalize the seam work and prepare for pre shading. More to follow. Merry Christmas to all.

Happy New Year everyone, as to continue on for today, just some images of preshading, the air frame. Not as crisp on this build. Would prefer an enamel for this process. And yet went ahead with an acrylic flat black. Don't really like the results too much. The panel line shading is way too thick in a lot of the areas. Prefer them to be much crisper in appearance. Well let see how it comes out when spraying the Lt Blue Grey. More to follow.
