Acki
Hi Mike, danke für die Bilder. Sieht gut aus.
3 June 2012, 16:04
Holger Kranich
Jau, sieht super aus!
3 June 2012, 16:07
Mike Kryza

Leiträder ebenfalls in drei Versionen!
3 June 2012, 17:29
Holger Kranich
Hmmm, das hört sich unerwartet gut an!!!
3 June 2012, 17:32
Mike Kryza
3 June 2012, 17:41
Holger Kranich
Na das hört sich doch super an! Is doch mal ne Alternative, der Eduardkit hat mich z.B. nich so überzeugt...
3 June 2012, 17:44
Acki
Morgen bestell ich mir das Modell.
3 June 2012, 17:47
Acki
22 ?, sogar günstiger als beim König:
zinnfigur.com/produc..p;sort=1d&ID=947
3 June 2012, 17:59
Mike Kryza
3 June 2012, 19:39
Acki
Hab ihn mir bestellt!
8 June 2012, 16:49
Mike Kryza
10 June 2012, 15:15
Mike Kryza
ok
10 June 2012, 15:24
Acki
Hi Mike, was hast Du denn da für Nummern draufgepappt?

Ok - the kit is still on hold, because I have a problem with the camo. Academy brings us a very nice kit from a late Hetzer, but I think the camo is wrong.
The camo with the dots was applied at the BMM-factory on early and mid Hetzers. The H. from Ac. looks like a Hetzer from the Dec. 44 production line or later. I haven't found any photo which shows a late Hetzer with dots...
All clear??? - :-D
I found pics from late H. in uni, with stripes and so on and my library is not very small :-D
@Acki and @Christian - Think about...🙂
16 July 2012, 18:43
Christian Mundt
Thanks for the advice, Mike. So I´ll have to try to use a camo scheme provided by Eduard with their late Hetzer. Looks cool, too.
16 July 2012, 19:16
Mike Kryza
I don't know this one - Have you an article number???
16 July 2012, 19:33
Christian Mundt
The article number is 3712
16 July 2012, 19:40
Acki
16 July 2012, 19:54
Mike Kryza
Gerne - wozu ist SCM auch da...😉
16 July 2012, 20:02
Acki
Anyway, with your and Christians model I have to think a lot about my Hetzer.
Time for some painting.
16 July 2012, 20:12
Mike Kryza
Hello together - currently I have some days free :-D and the last days I was very busy. The modelling of Jagdpanzer 38 is still going on. Here are the newest pictures...
5 August 2012, 19:41
Holger Kranich
Top work, so far! I love the colourtone of the red primer. Dark but looking good!
6 August 2012, 06:06
Mike Kryza
Yesterday I#ve sprayed the green and today I demasked the "Hetzer" - and now the next round will start...:-D
6 August 2012, 18:39
Christian Meyerhoff
Sehr schöne Tarnung! Wo mit hast Du die Masken ausgeschnitten?
6 August 2012, 19:06
Christian Lehmann
Hi Mike, sieht ja cool aus. Bin gespannt wie es weitergeht. 🙂
6 August 2012, 19:14
Mike Kryza
6 August 2012, 20:02
Mike Kryza
Yep - ist allererste Sahne. Allerdings komplett ohne Inneneinrichtung (braucht man die unbedingt.)
6 August 2012, 20:17
Acki
Hallo Mike, sieht toll aus. Hast also doch etwas von der Folie benutzt. Mit welchen Farben lackierst du?
6 August 2012, 20:44
Wilfried Bogaerts
6 August 2012, 21:11
Mike Kryza
Thx a lot, guys for the comments.
Will soon listen the colors I've used untill yet - maybe this evening...
It's time to work a little bit on the "Hetzer" and the "Minenräumer"...🙂
7 August 2012, 13:01
Mike Kryza
Here is the list of used colors :-D (all from Vallejo / Vallejo Air)
01. First layer is "Surface Primer" grey and black -
02. Next is VAir 81 (Tank Dark Yellow 1943), lightly oversprayed with VAir 25 (Dark Yellow)
03. Then follows VAir (Tank Brown) with a little bit of VAir 038 (Cam. Med. Brown) and the last layer is VAir 096 (Panzer Olive Green) with a little bit of yellow.

Nicely made Mike...

Aghis Barberopoulos
Hetzer, one of my favourite armor! Nice work Mike, I can't wait to see more progress!
7 August 2012, 17:18
Mike Kryza
Thx Steve and
Thx Aghis - hope this project will come to a good end...😉
Btw for the tracks I used Track Primer 304 from Vallejo Panzer Aces.
7 August 2012, 17:53
Holger Kranich
I'm convinced that this will turn out well! I'll take your thread as reference when i take my Hetzer from the stash😢!
7 August 2012, 19:03
Mike Kryza
Holly - hope this will be not a mistake by yourself - I'm still not yet ready... :-D:-D
7 August 2012, 19:08
Holger Kranich
I was kidding but sometimes i'll take a look😢 Your progress is great, so far!
7 August 2012, 19:20
Holger Kranich
BTW, move on with the camo, it will pay off!!!
7 August 2012, 19:21
Mike Kryza
Do not rush me Holly.... 😉 -
ok - the late Hetzer have no dots in the camo (I spoke today with a friend who confirm this fact) Indeed, it's possible that Academy made a mistake... The camo pattern is exact for the early and the mid production...
But it's all one - I'm going further on...:-D
Today I will start with some filters...
7 August 2012, 19:34
Holger Kranich
Hey Mike, As Long as you like it, its good, Even if not historically correct! F it! It looks good and thats a fact!
7 August 2012, 20:23
Mike Kryza
Holly - you build me up... 😉
7 August 2012, 20:27
Christian Mundt
Excellent camo, Mike! Great Work! What is your impression of Academy´s paint masks?
8 August 2012, 18:59
Mike Kryza
Hi Christian - the masks are top! I was astonished 'bout it. The adhesive force is quite right and they are flexible enough for the work. After demasking the JgPz I found no point to repair. Nearly unbelievable...🙂. Or I have had a good day...😉
8 August 2012, 19:22
Acki
Hi Mike, will you use the sideskirts?
8 August 2012, 20:38
Mike Kryza
Some more pics...
@Acki - I will use the sideskirts. I have divided them in three pieces. They will be fixed after installation of the tracks.
9 August 2012, 17:56
Mike Kryza
Ok - next steps are done. Shown on the last two pics, you see the fixed tracks.
10 August 2012, 19:11
Mike Kryza
Washing and so on will come up... / Jetzt geht es an die "Alterung"
13 August 2012, 18:09
Acki
Nice! What are you doing with the antenna? I decided to use a little piece of wire.
13 August 2012, 18:25
Mike Kryza
No Acki - the antenna is unscrewed and stowed... 🙂
13 August 2012, 18:38
Acki
Alles klar. Will wohl gerade durch die Waschstrasse.😉
13 August 2012, 18:41
Mike Kryza
13 August 2012, 18:48
Aghis Barberopoulos
Nice work Mike, I really like how it comes along.
13 August 2012, 19:52
Mike Kryza
Hi mates - thx a lot for your comments. But believe me - critics are welcome too... :-D
13 August 2012, 20:08
berni
Hello Mike, good work. I would not be able to do it better. 🙂
13 August 2012, 22:27
Sherif Sharmy
I think a little more weathering will do. Still.........a lovely build
13 August 2012, 22:31
Philip De Keyser
Great job Mike, it really looks great, love the cammo sheme, greetz Phil
14 August 2012, 05:49
Mike Kryza
@berni - don't play things down, you're able... 😉 - And we are't in a contest, we have our fun.
@Sherif - Yes, a little bit weathering will come on. (Oil etc.)
But... I have not so much space, to build up for every AFV or so on a dio or a vignette. So I stopped weathering at one point. A point, where I can display the model without an specific underground in my showcase.
If I decide to build a little dio, the rest of the weathering starts at this time, because the underground must tied in to the vehicle.
@and many thx to all the other guys...
I will upload soon some pics of the "finished" "Hetzer" :-D
14 August 2012, 17:34
Mike Kryza
Hello mates - pictures of the "finished" JgPz 38(t) - the yellow "Hetzer" on the last pictures is the old one from Italerie - I build em up in my last modeling-life :-D
16 August 2012, 17:17
Aghis Barberopoulos
Very nice duet!
16 August 2012, 17:28
Mike Kryza
Hi Aghis - thanks a lot... The old Italeri ones is not so bad. You can build 'em today too, you only have to change the tracks...
20 August 2012, 15:21
Aghis Barberopoulos
I have to get myself a couple of Hetzers too! I am strangely attracted to them...😉
20 August 2012, 15:28
Frank Krause
Hi Mike, nice camouflage on your Hetzer! The Italeri kit also looks nice despite its age.
20 August 2012, 17:52
Mike Kryza
@Frank - Thx - think you can see the panzerchen on the event of mbc camouflage -
and the "Minenräumer" too... :-D
20 August 2012, 18:14
Frank Krause
Great, more reasons to go to Koblenz...! 🙂
20 August 2012, 18:17
Acki
Hello Mike, great result on this Hetzer(s). Sorry can´t come to Koblenz. Will you be in Berlin Gatow in september?
20 August 2012, 19:12
Mike Kryza
@Thx Acki - sorry - can't come in sep to Berlin - we are preparing for the "Modellbau Bodensee" in the beginning of october and there is in Erding two weeks before an event too... But the time will come... 😉
