Tim, please stay tuned. The M48A5 will be finished as a Norwegian AFV. I lke the so-called "Splinter Camouflage" of the Norwegian AFVs.

As you can see I covered the cast portions of the model with Mr Surfacer 500, except for the engine deck.
Academy has done a great job in representing the structure of the cast portions of the model, but as I had done some surgery on the glacis, the headlights with guards, the lifting devices and the external fire extinguisher hanhle were too far back on the glacis and had to be repositioned, I had sanded off some of the struture that had to be rebuild.

In the meantime I had sprayed the model with Tamiya light gray primer.
I couldn't find a drawing showing a Norwegian M48A5 with "splinter camo" on the internet.

As an substitute I will transfer an NOR Leo 1 pattern to a M48A5 drawing.

Then the fun part begins!
