Thanks bughunter!

Well that's a canundrum in itself.... I will remain in Botswana until next week, most of my stash (...in the container) is on its way to be shipped from Durban in South Africa and a few selected kits are right now on an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Kuwait...to await my arrival there :-P

What do I put as country of residence?! 😉

Thanks mates 👍

@David: well not all of it is my stash. My wife's art supplies (...she's a fulltime artist actually) helped to fill the container as well...plus one or two pieces of furniture and what fells like a million of ornaments and art work :-P

I know exactly how you feel, Sebastian. I moved my stash from my apartment in Oklahoma City to my current apartment in Vaals, the Netherlands. It was a finger crossing experience to see whether my paints and fluids arrive unharmed. It took me a while to set up shop again as I considered my current residence to be temporary, but I figured I wanted to build again. 🙂 Now, I'm slowly getting into the zone again. Safe travels and may your modeling experience continue across the continents! 🙂

Thanks mates 👍 When moving from one place to the other on everage every four years, one learns a great deal, what to send ahead as air freight to set up shop quickly. Got all the fancy RLM, RAL and what not colours..... next time I shall remember to pack some even more "fancy" tones, like black and white for instance 😉 Luckily for first time in more than a decade there is a hobbyshop in at least the same country 🙂

Shopping in Kuwait is probably much easier than Botswana 😄

It is Spanjaard, it is 🙂 Eventhough, the prices can be a bit steep. Some kits are sold for about 2,5 times what I would have expected 👀

Wow, that hurts. Well, you can order online. Maybe you will not have all the hassle with customs we have in other parts of the world 😉

Such an old sea container bury in the garden - finally space for all the models. 😄

@ Treehugger: 😄 well the container holds our entire household, which includes my stash.
@Spanjaard: Thanks mate, much appreciated 👍
@Erik No: size wise it would be great, however I'm not sure if I wanted to work in an enclosed metal box…in Kuwait's lovely long Summers 😉
