Rod -Not the color I was aiming for but still nice. I'm not gonna attempt to spray the vallejo again. I ended up using stuff I had lying around. 50/50 mix tamiya acrylic red and white for base coat, then SMS strawberry pearl over the top. Its still wet.

Rod -2k clear coat done. Not obvious in the pic, but is a pink pearl over matt pink base.

Rod -Anyone got any suggestions how to make the carbon decal look a bit nicer before clear goes on? I think I overdid the decal solvent.

Rod -Aoshima 18" wheels with Tamiya 15" tires stretched over. Rear axle drilled out 2mm offset to lower the back. Front lowered about 3mm. Wheels mounted on 2mm carbon fibre axles (that's all I had handy). I will drill right thru the engine to make room for the front axle.

Rod -Yep, a bit of pink pearl over the top of flat pink base. Lighting in my house is crap, I'll try and take some shots in daylight.
