I am working on the Morane-Saulnier Types N (a.k.a. the bullet). This is an intriguing aircraft since it was designed with much promise, but failed miserably in the field. It was extremely difficult to fly due to the use of wing warping (instead of ailerons) and engine overheating making it generally unreliable. It also had a "deflector" built on to the back of the propeller to deflect bullets from striking it. The engine generated a significant amount of heat, so the paint tented to peel away from the aluminum housing. Thus I'm going to try a peeling effect I've been thinking about and see how it works.
