Minimum detail in the cockpit but you can't see anything through the windows so it doesn't matter.
I decided to attach the wings first in order to avoid gaps and filling on the surface.

I cut off the tips of the wings to add vertical stabilizers and filled, sanded down and thinned the flaps to make elevons.
Scribing panel lines. This was a big job that took forever.
Air intakes glued in and filled.
Extra styrene added to fill gaps.
Filler needed. Unfortunately some how dust from sanding got into the inside after sealing the cockpit.

A lifetime later the surface is prepared for primer by sanding to 5000 grit.
The first layer of primer revealed some minor adjustments. Required a bit of spraying and many, many more hours of sanding.

SkyhikerStarting a new project. Since this kit was brought out before the B-2 was public, I thought I would make it into a fictional experimental plane in aluminum. What do you guys suggest?

SkyhikerThanks Jeremy, I think it looks a lot like the early Horten designs that were never produced. But the Hortens never designed anything this big. Jack Northrop made a few this size.

SkyhikerThank you Cuajete. I hope it pays off in the end. I realized that I scratched the bottom surface in a few areas and will have to see what I can do about that next. I also sanded a spot past the paint which could become a major problem at this stage. It's one big adventure.
