Now that is a nice looking Viper! I have to ask, what did you think of the kit, and more importantly, what did you think of the correction set for the gun turret? Where did you put the nose weight, since the instructions have you put that weight inside the incorrect closed turret?

Thanks for sharing, she's a beauty!

Anthony

PS. Wonder how she fairs against the new Academy AH-1W 1:35 kit?

Thanks Anthony and Spanjaard.

The correction set is necessary but a fairly rough casting. It doesn't fit as well as it should.

From memory I think I put some weight inside the sensor turret and the closed gun bays on either side of the fuselage. I didn't use the kit-supplied weight but much smaller lead weights.

I thought the kit was very nice. I'd like to build their UH-1Y one day.

Great looking Viper! Very well built and painted. I got this kit in my stash as well, seeing your great build makes me want to stop all my current projects and start with the Viper.

I have this kit, and their UH-1Y in my stash, but I think that they will release both kits in 1:35, if that is true, then I will be buying those as well. If I had known in advance, would have just waited for the bigger versions. Not sure what happened to me, but now I only want to build helicopters, they are so very interesting.

Cheers,

Anthony
