Treehugger
Is this one of those vac form kits?
22 June 2020, 08:23
Thomas Bischoff
I just bought a book about the German Seenotstaffel during WW2 and they used also Bizertes. It mentions that this ship had very good handling characteristics in rough sea.
22 June 2020, 10:02
potez452
Yes Treehugger it is ! and a long way project to deal with.
22 June 2020, 16:00
Treehugger
Do you have to fill the vac forms with some kind of foam or something? I think I've seen something like that.
22 June 2020, 16:08
potez452
Dear TreeHugger, I fill some locations with some kind of synthetic wood for helping glueing partstogether

How did you bend the rib strips to fit the curves?
5 August 2020, 10:06
potez452
Hello ribs are made with 2 parts : a thin strip of evergreen 0.13 mm thick glued to the fuselage and a length of 0.5 mm square rod glued to the strip. The rod is firmly but gently held in place while the glue dries (tamiya green)

Cleaver I was thinking it was expensive T bar strips

Ricardo Reis
You are a brave, fearless man! 🙂 May I sugest you change the settings on your album, in the "Teaser:" field to "Use last image"? You are doing an excellent job, but as default the album image that appears in the Newsfeed is always the first and it doesn't do justice to your admirable work so far.
8 February 2021, 23:15
Skyhiker
That vertical stabilizer looks like someone designed it for a cartoon. Crazy stuff. Loving every minute of it.
9 February 2021, 00:23
Olivier
Yeah SW, that is French design 😉
9 February 2021, 00:25
Łukasz Gliński
That's very smart, all 3 stabilizers are exchangeable then😉
Potez, you love sanding, don't you?😉 Incredible build 👍
9 February 2021, 08:03
Roland Sachsenhofer

It's really interesting to see how you've stabilized the model. I wish you would add text to the photos explaining what you have done.

potez452
Hello
Thank you mates
I will try to follow Ricardo's suggestion about album settings
As Olivier says it's french design...but we can analyze it as an improvement of english design (maybe)
