Thanks Alexander ! For now, everything seems going good ! Chassis made with Alclad and Humbrol Metalics. I'll make weathering later.

Ah, careful. Do you even have decals if you chose a white colored missile? I think there are only decals for a green/dark colored missile. Feel free to correct me on that though, I have this kit myself now and I think it would be nice with a white colored missile, but I don't think there are any decals for it in the box.

Hello, you're right, only decals for green missile in the box, imho the only BIG mistake from Trumpeter with this kit. After viewing pictures of real missile during the demolition program, I used various numbers and decals from other kits I finished before (seems that Iraq used less markings on their missile than Russian or East Block countries).

I am fascinated by how you paint the carriage parts and gear boxes and whatnot. Are you finished adding color to the parts with the drive shafts and such?

Thx, yes, all chassis parts are painted : various blacks (gloss, satin and matt), metalic humbrols and some brown panel line (Tamiya). I will add pigments later.

Hey, some progress after three years! All it took was a worldwide health crisis 😄

Hello Alexander ! My problem is that I have multiple passions (my M3 E46, video games, motorcycle) so sometimes, model kits don't progress. This one progress because my daughter (10 yo) start a VW Combi during COVID19, so it make me progressing 😉 Thanks for your comments, I appreciate.

Honestly, most of the chassis parts will not be visible once the different modules are in place. So, you can assembly chassis and paint it all black. for the interior, kit is very easy to paint with separate parts before glueing. Just find walkaround of the real (not easy for Irak version) and enjoy this great kit !

I made the Dragon kit into an Iraq version. It's long ago, so some pictures have gone dysfunctional, but for the markings I made some comparison pictures. You realise that Iraq Scuds were larger than standard? The TEL was also adapted to this. I did not make these changes. modelbrouwers.nl/php..=29757&start=100 Your model looks great, by the way!
