Nice result! Do the underlying layers of paint make much difference in the 'shine' of the car?

Thanks. The primer i use goes on very smooth and i apply the main color in very thin coats, then 1 coat of clear gloss, apply any decals then about 2-3 coats of clear and let it cure for about a week then polish with Meguiar's Scratch-X and Wax and it gives me a very shiny finish.
