Anyhow the Academy kit a bit inaccuracy and whoever build this one at the end it looks excellent, clean and sharp. I much like the outline of the camouflage pattern and subtle weathering!
Very well done and thx for sharing 👍

Album info

Spitfire FR Mk XIVe - Squadron Leader Ken Lawson of RCAF 414 Sdn, 39 Wing, 2TAF - May 1945.
This is the Academy kit, as most would know it is a "reasonable facscimile" of a Spitfire, but not very accurate. There is an aftermarket nose from DACO, but I couldn't find one. The wings are a bit off too.
I did use the Quickboost resin 5 bladed Prop replacement, as well as the Griffin exhausts.
I did final assembly and painting/finishing but the majority of the build was done by Bob Aikens and gifted to me. Bob is a member of our IPMS St. John's club, and alot of folks will remember Bob from his posts on Hyperscale. Look him up, you won't be disappointed!
