Michael Hickey@Choppa, thanks Mate, most of what you see in my albums is spread all over the world having sold most of it. If I went down south I'd have to build something just for the comp, and I've found out the hard way building for a comp is never a good thing.;)

Ray Seppala@Mick, My stuff is not that great but I managed a 2nd in the Airliner and Civil Aviation category with a DC-9 (USMC). Not sure what the judges were thinking, I thought there were better models on the table.

Michael HickeyWell I think a congratulations is in order my friend. I personaly always fear about the trophies for the boys club, and with my tongue I would for sure not be able to hold it. The first competition I entered in about 15 years was at Wollongong earlier this year, but I didn't go my mate entered my Bradley and M1117 dio's + a figure on my behalf. They didn't do any good but then I didn't see what they were up against, so I'm not too bothered. Nice feedback from this site is all the recognition I need to keep me smiling.

Ray SeppalaTo be honest I enter to make up the numbers, winning anything is a bonus. I will have to go through my pictures of the Wollongong Comp again to see what the entries were like.

Well it's that time of the year again. The biggest event in Melbourne the EXPO as before it's run from setup on Friday to the Queens birthday holiday on Monday. Held in the Members function room under the grandstand. Sandown Racecourse is the home to both a motor racing track and horse racing track! Lots of entries again in the competion. Anyway enjoy the pics! I don't know who owns what or what got an award. Look at the model EXPO site for that info!
