"Hey, this bird's just scrap!" - Looks great!👍
Just one point: don't you think the soot traces in the rear should run straight in flight direction?

Ulf, nope, the model is painted, as close as can be given the scale differences, to match the studio model. The 'soot' fans out in the same angle as the vents.

Album info

This is my Fine Molds 1:144 scale Millennium Falcon. I was able to pick it up from Hobby Link Japan for $35 over Christmas. Started and finished in about 10 days. It's a nice kit although I would have preferred if the engine grill had been clear, and the kit have separate parts for the clear frames of cockpit and gun windows. I'm not a fan of the decals. They take a lot of solvaset to make settle down properly as they're pretty thick.

Kit was built out of box. Painted using Model Master FS colours. The wash is the Testors CreatorFX brand of wash. Never used it before but thought I'd give it a try. I think I'll stick with the Flory Models washes. Some other weathering done with pastel chalk.

My only disappointment is that this is 1:144 scale. So quite itty-bitty. If anyone out there has the 1:72 scale boxing that they would be willing to part with at a reasonable price, please contact me. I know they're listed on ebay for anywhere from $500 to $1000 CAD, but I have no interest in paying that much. I'm hopin
