Surprise arrived from MPD decals included in the kit: they simply disintegrated
when in touch with water,
and so on are unuseful. Substitution with replacement decals from Techmod is easy for
national insignia Hinomaru, but the unit code 3-57 or 3-58 white are of particular "font"
and this could be a nightmare. I'm looking for a solution.

Nice job on the airplane so far, Luciano. What a pity with the decals! Hope, you'll find a solution.

Beautiful work. The decals being that bad is a real shame and finding replacement decals is difficult.

I recently had a similar decal situation. I had scanned them first, and do I've sent my scan in to one of these custom decal places. I don't know how it will work but I will report back on my XF-92a build when they arrive.

Album info

1/72 scale resin kit from mr.Faustus Erik - FE Resin - n?72001, Praha, Czech Republic
Engraved with fine line, requires an accurate sanding and putty use
My kit required too some work to restore propeller in useful condition
Very carefully job is necessary for the undercarriage and especially for
the long "greenhouse" canopy (very light acetate, not easy for place in position)
