Yeah, Kim! Most of them were started, when I was still living in Japan. We moved to Germany, before I could finish them. Now I put them in my album of shame to get noticed once a while and put my hands on them...

Hey! I think I see a couple of figures in there! What's up with that Frank?
Good looking models.

@James: Once a while I give figures a try, but... they are representing my figure painting skills. Still a lot of work to do!

Just added my biggest shame object - Tamiya's M2 Bradley with Interior. Started before my move to JP (before 1995). It got stored at my parents home, until I found it there after return to DE...

Look at it this way: a model is rarely finished, it is usually abandoned at one stage or other...🙂

The dust covered VW says it All🙂 But please finish the Stug. Looks yery nice even unfinished. By the way... When taking a look at your stash it does not make me wonder that from time to time something is not finished ??? 🙂

Don`t worry Frank. My Sd. Kfz. 223 got the first taste of paint last week 🙂- after more than 20 years.

@Dave: Yepp, you're right. For some there is quite a fear factor, especially for the StuG III. That camo took me days and I don't want to mess it up. But - just a little effort... and some guts will do it.
@H K: Actually I stopped with the 223, because of the figure coming with the kit. Some clear varnish and some dry-brushing should do it with the car... and, of course, the figure.
@Holger: Let's see. For the kits on hold I need a certain kick, then it will go fine.

These shelf-queens are perfect for trying out new products. I will try the AK interaktive dust effects on the 223er for example.

I don't need AK - just see the "natural" dust effects on the VW Käfer.😉😉😉

@William: Yepp! The VW and the T-34 already paid a short visit on the workbench and received a coat of clear satin varnish. They do look better now.
@Gerald: I should file a patent for that...?!😉

ah Frank you've created two photo albums for this groupbuild ! 🙂
well I did say there were no rules but one really loose one 🙂
although I did wonder about having two albums with the same name now I know 🙂
Though it might be best to have just one album for all our neglected kits, up to you of course, if you really want two albums have two 🙂

I've created this album already a year ago and just renamed it today, because I did not want to duplicate the photos. I'll delete the new album with the 2 pics.

I think its going to be Frank !! all he's got to do is put the lid on it and it's done 😄😉
I am getting close though, just another 30 or so small decals, Klear coats, a modest bit of weathering, more Klear coats and then glue on the last 11 pieces and I am done 🙂
Wanna race Frank ? 😄
Actually thats an idea first person to finish can have their model up on the heading picture of the group for this first month ! 🙂
