Excellent paintwork.
As for the front wheel, I think it looks like mud, like you said. Maybe you can add some steel wires, the cords of the tire that is leftover after burning (not sure if these had cords though)
Also, as the front is completely burned out, I think the drive belt of the fan would be gone as well. Will follow this 👀 it will be a beauty!
