David OrrThanks guys. This was quite a fun build and for such an old kit it fitted together nicely. Minor issues, but overall very good. The SMS paints were also excellent to work with.

Another kit from my father's stash that he's had since around 1974-75. This one is actually a Midori branded kit but seems to be exactly the same kit as the Union one. It is painted in SMS Advance Carmine Red with SMS Bright Gold for the brass parts (the plating on the kit was not quite right). Quite an easy kit to build. Parts needed a bit of cleanup to remove seams and ejector pin marks, but overall not bad. The wheels were the worst part and needed a lot of scraping, filling and sanding between the spokes. Some of the "brass" parts could do with better mounting points, especially the grab handles on the seats which had no mounting points at all. The completed kit was a Christmas present for my father.
