Most of the decals have been added at this point

Masked the canopy inside and out, using Eduard vinyl masks. Happy with the result. Trying to figure out how to sed it up so the canopy is hinged.

Have the wheels, aileron weights, Propeller and the top engine panels and antennae to add. Then touch up and apply a clear dull coat over all surfaces.

Album info

Started this project in around December 15, 2023. This is an aircraft that was flown by Eric "Bubi" Haretman. The plane was manufactured by ERLA. The kit was put out by Revell in 2013. Photo-etch and vinyl masks by Eduard. Used a variety of paints from Scale Colors, Valejo, Tamiya and Life Color. The kit was a door prize at the 2023 IPMS Nationals in the USA.

2024-04-28 - Kit completed! Did some weathering. Made hinges from metal foil from a liquor bottle for the canopy so the canopy opens and closes. Used a combination of paints from Tamiya, Scale Colors and Life Color. Eazy line for the antenna and other rigging.
