An out of the box build of Airfix's nice little 4B Scooter. Looks like they based the kit on the plane sitting on the hangar deck of USS Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York. It's a nice little kit, typical of Airfix's recent fare, with no real fit issues. Sprue gates are a bit clumsy in places. My only real moan is the fit of landing gear doors if you choose the closed position. A manufacturer like Airfix really should be moulding separate parts for each option, rather than this 1970's approach. Would benefit from metal undercarriage due to height and slenderness. I started this kit a couple of years ago (2021-ish) and picked it up again early 2023. Just needs some weathering now to complete.
