Aghis BarberopoulosI build this kit in the mid eighties (I think it was the same kit anyway). I remember trying to paint it by brush... 🙁 You can tell it was the influence of the film "Nimitz" with Kirk Douglas.

Holger KranichThat Film and "Top Gun" made me a fan of the F-14 Tomcat! Its my absolute favorite aircraft!

Aghis BarberopoulosIt is certainly dynamical! Moving those big wings around. Then again the Tornado moves them also, while twisting the weapons pylons...that is even more 'dynamic' in a sense. But to be honest, this aircraft is not for dogfights despite the films...On the other hand it is an impressive beast, in my school days I used to sketch F-14 in all my books. Then I went to NY to study aeronautics...What did I tell you ? I am crazy 🙂
