Back to my stalking.
I've always wanted to do something like this, but it's going to be in the future. I saw a fellow SM do a viking ship, and his work was phenomenal! Lots of calving and precision cutting, from templates. It looks amazing and very intricate.
I hope to see progress pictures of this 🙂

Thanks bozzer yes it'd sure has be one of the things that was interesting for me onion the modelling world I have always Ben fascinated but the old ships with canon's
As you know I am just a new Modeler
So some of the kits I come across are sure future projects for me
This one o got as it seamed cheap
Partly build
The hull is built and will have to be cut apart
All the wood used for that will have to be replaced
I thought I could just walk in to my local an thay would have all parts in stock
Turned out a bit different
Sofare I have managed to get a few pieces
Of wood that can be used of
Someone that use tondo rc planes
Looks like this kit will take a bit of time just to get parts for
This is also a kit that isent recommended for a beginner
Hopefully I will be reddy when I he6 all the parts for this salvation
This kit was started by someone that had alot of ambition
But no time to look into how to do things
With the 0rice I paid for it I could also use it as parts
But I would live to salvage it
That said
I will first spent the time finding the materials that was ruined
An then let's see
Mist of the kit is untouched
And in perfect condition
Its just a matter of finding the wood to redo the hull
But if nothing else I will just put it in my stach and some day come across other ships I can use for parts
I think I followed the same builder
And a few others or the same builder
After that I keept an eye out for kits like that I have a few now
Also got a few tools to work on them
But n9t quite there yet
Which is ok I don't think I am reddy to build a kit like this yet anyway
For now I have bought a few easy kits
And pree painted I hope to build a bit while on the road
I know you ate sure a much more experienced builder than me
But if you haven't done any wood models before I would recommend o
You start out with something smaller and also look into th e building of wooden ships a bit before you take it on

I'm all about preservation, JV. I've saved a lot of old things, in the past. The last one, was my new wife 😉 😛
