So, i unpacked it and must say: Great kit, still a lot to do and to buy, but i never saw such a giantific decalsheet with such a superb quality! It even smells wonderful!

Actually just got this one in the mail last week myself. Looking forward to it. Great detail for revell, and 1/3 the price of the Has kit.

Hey Phil, at first i´ve got to buy some aftermarketstuff! The kit is not bad but a new cockpit is necessary!

@Nick: I think this is a good kit at all, so you are right! But what do you think about the cockpit? Would you replace it, too or are you going to do some scratchbuild?

It doesn't look too bad as is. Great for Revell standards especially with the added decals but i could also justify purchasing an afternarket cockpit. But thats probably all id replace since its relatively new tooling.

Aftermarket resin cockpits are addictive. You can't just buy one. Ask me how I know.
The easier (but not necessarily cheaper) alternative is a Color Zoom PE fret from Uncle Eduard. At least you don't have to paint all the instruments.

Thx for your comments, guy´s! For me its no question to buy a new cockpit because i´d like to build this bug with an open canopy...
