Edgars Bizūns added the Zoukei-Mura Heinkel He 219A-0 "Uhu" in 1:32 to his wishlist
15. September at 09:12:12 Share
Holger Kranich In that scale, Edgars? :D You are kidding us, hu?
15. September at 14:45:43
Edgars Bizūns Why not? It's not 1/48.. its 1/32! If I will build something big, I will build either 24th or 32nd scale. :)
And I will build it if I will have spare 200€..
15. September at 15:28:31
Holger Kranich The Price is indeed challenging... But would be nice to see something big from your bench!
15. September at 15:51:28
Edgars Bizūns I have two big expenses coming soon, trip to Finland model show and airbrush setup (compressor, airbrush, tubing etc), so I will propably not be able to buy something big. But I will get that Revell 1/32 Spitfire as soon as I can tought, that thing is beautiful. :)
Maybe somebody has unneeded airbrush in normal condition for a normal price?

Thomas Mayer Hi Holgi! What´s up on the island?

Had to add my second kit, wasn´t aware one now can add multiple kits to the stash!

That's something I've been waiting for more than 30 years.

Siegfried The only problem about this kit is: Can I aford it?
09. February 2012 at 17:35:02
Aghis Barberopoulos Judging from the Ta 152, it must be in the range of 150 euro ?
09. February 2012 at 18:35:55
Thomas Mayer Having bought my Ta 152H directly from Zoukei-mura it did cost me about 150 Euro, so I could imagine the Heinkel to be more expensive. But, on the other hand, ZM offered their P-51 Mustang for about 80 Euros in an add in FSM.
We will see... :)
09. February 2012 at 19:02:27
Holger Kranich Siegfried, Revell releases an A-7 Uhu in the same scale, this year. Its maybe the better option for your wallet... ;)
10. February 2012 at 13:52:12
Thomas Mayer Holger,

I guess it will be the better option for most peoples wallet ;)

Nonetheless I hope to be able to get one, for I really like the two engines and the way Zoukei-mura does it´s kits.

If ZM keeps the tradition to do a Concept Note book for this one, too, it will be worth its weight in gold as are the other three books already available!
10. February 2012 at 16:14:58
Holger Kranich Thomas, i'm deeply impressed! Your Way to seduce me is remarkable, feautering the zm kit! But i just wanted to offer a cheaper option!
10. February 2012 at 20:29:36
Thomas Mayer No seduction, Holger!

The Revell one will be a fantastic kit well worth the money asked for. I have no doubt you and everybody else will be happy with any of these two kits.
10. February 2012 at 22:08:28
Siegfried I think I better start off with the Revell kit. Which is already on order. We will see which is really the first on my modelling desk.
11. February 2012 at 10:04:00
Aghis Barberopoulos I think Ernst Heinkel would be pleased to know his creation would be stirring such enthusiasm after so many years :) I agree we have to look at both offers...

03. February 2012 at 08:04:42 Share
Holger Kranich Oh, thats unfair! They bring a "Uhu" and Revell too, in the same scale and same year... The Revell one is already preordered...
03. February 2012 at 08:22:36
Thomas Mayer Oh no! It IS fair! :)

I´ll try to get both of them, for I want to support Revell as a "Thank You" for the fun I had with their 1/32 scale Ju 88, and for I like Zoukei-mura´s approach to design the models as the real aircraft has been!

Have a look at ZM´s kit in Nuremberg:

Sadly, no pictures of Revell´s kit so far... :(
03. February 2012 at 11:08:56
Holger Kranich Wonderful pix of the Zokei-UHU! Sh.t, now i have to buy them both... Luckily thei are two different versions, A0 and A7... That will be my excuse to get them... ;)
03. February 2012 at 11:19:02
Jim Hatch You know it makes sense ;)
03. February 2012 at 12:13:01
Holger Kranich Yes it does, you have convinced me and i´m seduced !
03. February 2012 at 14:08:28
Burkhard D While it does look pretty good, the internal wing structure is not really authentic on the ZM kit. Other than that, awesome detail! :)
04. February 2012 at 14:30:32
Aghis Barberopoulos Two Uhu's in 1/32! This is a Luftwaffe's enthusiast dream (or nightmare ???) The Z-M certainly looks beautiful, with full engine detail... It reminds me a lot the Ta 152 of theirs... :)
04. February 2012 at 14:52:17
Bill Gilman Thank goodness I no longer build in 1:32 scale! I wuld be even more poor than I am now!
04. February 2012 at 19:13:33
Holger Kranich Bill, youre damn right!
04. February 2012 at 20:52:53
Jim Hatch I'll try to get you more info when my ZM friends return from Nuremberg. I can't wait to see this in the 'plastic'.
